Amused
Talking New Tired Old Gamer

Hi everyone,

My first ever games were on the Atari.
My first ever computer was a Commodore 64 then an Amiga.
First ever email, i suppose you could call it that was viatel which was telecom. It was an electronic bulletin board for everyone. In black and white using the commodore 64..

Thats Old...

Always enjoyed playing games, use to spent alot of time in the coin op places.

Use to play wargames with pen and paper drawing tanks planes and ships.
Sometimes Space stuff as well.

The reason i want to join TOG is that i have a friend in your group who wanted me to sign up. And also i wanted to be with older players who never find it too old to play electronic games. Like they say your never too old to play.

My favorite movie was Tron only because it was the first ever computer animated movie.. And staring Jeff Bridges. Well done to Jeff recently on scoring an Oscar for best actor. Finally ....After 40 years of acting.

Always a fan and will watch anytime the movie WARGAMES.

My sporting background has always been Athletics doing that for 25 years.
Stopping at the age of 33 after leg problems developing.
Wasnt faster enough to go the the games but tried.

Dont want to bore you guys too long about myself but there is alot to tell.
You might say been there done that. And my current job is a Plumber.

Get to play these games when the missus is busy or i need time out.

Favorite multigame at the moment is BC2. great game and graphics.
I think the future for gaming is going to be scarey , i mean the graphics are just getting better and better.

Ok ill end it here. So i hope to join you guys on the battlefield , Im 43 years old and cannot find an end in sight to stop playing these great games.

Thankyou
Steve
