Hi all !

I'm hoping you will find me a fit candidate to join TOG as a full member.

About Me:

• I'm an old gamer. Back in my childhood, we used to sharpen sticks for spears to play with. No, srsly! I still have a scar on my left foot to prove it!
• By the time I reached adulthood, D&D came out and changed my gaming world. I picked up D&D to play with my son, to help him develop his reading skills.
• PC games - I've been playing since 1984 when I picked up a Kaypro computer with the CPM operating system. I played Zork when it was 100% text-based. Hunt the Wumpus was also a 100% text-based game I played. Anyone else remember these?
• I remember when Gauntlet was the very best arcade game in the world - to us anyway. "Don't shoot the food!"
• My son pointed me to Everquest when it was a new game - and our gaming world changed once more.
• I now have two grown children who are also gamers, both qualify for being members here.
• I've played (or beta tested) almost every MMO that exists.
• In RL, I'm a techie. I also retired from 21 years in the military, so that classifies me as an old war dog.
• RL interests include just about everything related to sci/fi and fantasy (gaming, reading, writing when I have time, movies, TV, chatting, etc.).
• I also think that bacon may be the absolute perfect food - along with chocolate.

Current MMOs:

• Age of Conan
• World of Warcraft
• Dragon Age - Origons (to fill my non-MMO gaming time needs)

Wish List MMOs:

• Starwars: the Old Republic

Why do I want to join TOG?

• As an old gamer, and avid forum lurker & poster, how could I not be interested in joining TOG? This forum was made for gamers like me!
• I thought I was already a member of TOG, thought I'd joined during the AoC Beta and just lost touch. Maybe I joined under another name.
• I've been interested in TOG since I found out about it back then. But it somehow fell off my radar. But once I'm a member, I hope to stay active!

I'm sure an admin or aModerator will be along to process your appliacation soon. Once that happens and you have access to all the forums, you will find the AOC forum here and the WoW forum here.

In AOC we are on the Wiccanna server and you can pop a request in the invite thread here for any toons you want guilded.

I'm also on Wiccana and recently came back to AoC (been gone about 5 months). I used to be in Bloodline, and see they are all over the server now - must have grown a lot more since my time.

I used to be very active on the AoC forums and the unofficial RP forums on Wiccana.

I'm currently having some 'technical difficulties' with AoC though, so not sure how long I'll hang around the game.


In WoW, I'm on the Argent Dawn server. Just broke 80 recently with my 80 DK alt. WOOT!
