Hello TOG

I wish to join your gracious community. I am currently interested in your Elendilmir Kinship since that is where I've been spending most of my gaming time recently. This is my first dedication to a MMORPG after a short exploration of Guild Wars and would like to find more people to enjoy it with, there are only so many single player quests you can do and to delve further into this fantastic world, I know fellowships are appreciated.

I do play other games online such as DOD, The Battlefield Series, Red Ochestra...mostly somewhat realistic WW2 shooters as you can see, but have mostly kept in the offline world in the past. Recent offline games I like are the Totalwar series, Mass Effect, Dragon Age and Arma2.

I have been computer gaming since childhood with the 2600 and later the Amiga before the NES consoles took off, anyone remember Zork, The BardsTale, and the reason I worked those summer jobs, Dungeon Master (It came on 4 1.44MB Floppy's and used a whopping 1MB of RAM ^^). I've tried almost all the consoles but have since migrated to a PC die hard because of the modding capabilities. Now I have a gaming PC and PS3 for mostly sports games and PS3 only titles.

As far as games go, I started with board/card games like many of us, graduating to AD&D and other TSR incarnations. I used to love Battletech and Cars Wars, no matter how complicated they were. I appreciated the detail and focus on realism and the awesome maps and 100s of little miniature cardboard cutouts. I spent a lot of time in the hobby shops back then.

I'm currently living and working in S. Korea, so connecting with English players is a bit harder. But a good friend had recommended I look into your group and found it to be very flexible and inviting without the teenagers, not that I have anything against them, but as you get older, time becomes a premium, so I'm looking for a more refined and forgiving gamer experience.
