Hi TOG!
Hiya!
Looking to join TOG with other people my own age. First game I played was some old console thing that I bought on sale in Myers - I think it was a Pong ripoff. I don't remember much about it except for the cheesy woodgrain veneer on it. Cut my teeth on PC games such as Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego and still one of my alltime favs, Day of the Tentacle, Doom, Wolfenstein. Wasted many hours playing Quake and UT (nothing more demoralising than getting sniped by your 8 year old son). Played various PC games, SNES, GB, GBA over the years. I've lost track of the number of consoles (handheld and otherwise) we have in the house. I have a husband and 3 teenage kids and we all game in some way, shape or form. My son plays COD, MW:2, GTA on Xbox live, the girls play the Sims (still!) and Wii games (Wii fit, Rockband). We have PS3 too, but it's mainly used as a Bluray player. Husband and I play WoW (have done since release - the kids played through Vanilla wow and BC but have moved on). Tried AoC, DAO, Aion, STO etc, but I dunno, I just keep coming back to WoW. It would be nice to talk about gaming with other older gamers who have the same responsibilities and game-blockers as I do! Anyhoo, looking forward to spending quality gaming time with TOG!
