TOG - The Older Gamers

My first gaming experience was playing the old games in the arcade as a kid such as Space Invaders, Moon Patrol and Missile Command, I owned an Atari 2600 on which I played all the golden oldies and particularly enjoyed Indiana Jones and The Empire Strikes Back.

When I was about 13 I got my Commadore 64 which was awesome, followed on by Amiga and then eventually PC.

In later years my first true love was Star Wars Galaxies which I played in the Kauri Galaxy with Tardaan and Grym. We started a resource/architectural business which I was the director of with locations across the galaxy..
I also unlocked my Jedi (in the original pre patch 9 style) after completing 29 of the 31 professions in the game and advanced to Jedi Knight.

God I miss the good old days of Star Wars Galaxies (Pre NGE) and I am particularly looking forward to Star Wars the Old Republic!!

I have also spent some time on World of Warcraft and have advanced my Human Warlock to level 80 and Grand Master of Tailoring, Fishing, Cooking and Mining.

Also enjoy D&D although work/family does make it difficult at times to find the time available to dedicate onself to much of that although it is still fun!

I also play online games with my two teenage sons (13 and 19) and have done my best to teach them "in-game" respect as well as in the outside world the best I can.

I am wanting to join TOG so that I can play online games with a group of like minded, mature people and minimise having to put up with adolescent behaviour which I am experiencing more and more nowadays from many players.
