[DONE] TOG Application

Hey,

An old gaming friend, who is a member, has put me on to you guys.

I started gaming back in 1984 after moving to NZ from England. My father bought a spectrum sinclair (got a C64 but tape deck wasnt working and no time for replacement) just before we left and the bug hit instantly with morris miner.

The family that lived out back of us in NZ had a boy and a girl that were about 8-10 years older than me and took me under their wing as a 6 year old and taught me how to play D&D (we created our own transformer RPG based off of the D&D ruleset...spent a weekend down at the local toystores getting the stats off of the backs of the toy boxes.)

Anyways I lost touch with pen and paper gaming when we left for Australia 4 years later but the gaming bug stayed as we got a C64 in 88 shortly after we arrived and then with a 386DX40 in 91 for Christmas (along with Civilazation...best xmas EVER!).

I'm currently playing a tiny bit of wow (on and off player since quiting hardcore raiding in vanilla), lotro and BadCompany 2...plus resubbing to Conan with gaming buddy thats a TOG member. I tend to roam a bit with my mmo's these days, so EQ2, EVE, COX, Fallen Earth among others tend to get a look in at times.

As I've mentioned by gaming buddy is a member of TOG now and has encouraged me to join, I've seen the tag in games before and always liked the idea behind TOG, looking further into it now I really like the idea.

More about me...I live in Perth, WA so gmt +8. Game time is around 6.30-7.30pm - 11pm weeknights and varies weekends. I work for the institute formally known as TAFE :/ married to an ED Nurse (=shift worker, so plenty of game time without the hassle of wife agro) with 3 year old twins that enjoy watching or playing games...I limit their video gaming time though which they take surprisingly well :P

As you obviously know we currently have a guild presence on the Wiccana server. If you have any toons there you would like guilded just put a post in the invite thread here and someone will catch up with you in game.
