Greetings

I first discovered TOG after reading and article in an Australian games mag called PC Power Play. Yes thanks, I would like to join asap.

I think I fit the mould. I’m 27, have a family (5yo & 7mo), a career, a mortgage etc… Thanks mainly to my father and 2 uncles I have enjoyed paper, board & computer games all my life. As soon as I could spell RUN or LOAD I was hooked on the c64 and from their things just got better. Amiga, 386, 486DX… life was good. I have 2 brothers, like my dad & uncles (whom all are in there 50’s), and we still all game together. The main reason I would like to join TOG? Because I’ve always wanted to participate in some type of squad based FPS league. The last time I played in a league I was gunning down pixelated soldiers in the HL mod Firarms. Otherwise my reasons are broad. I enjoy all genres RTS, Sims, TBS, FPS, mmorpg.

Online games I’m playing at the moment: BF Bad Company 2, CIV IV (for the last 4 years), Company of Heroes, Dawn of War II.

Solo games I have played recently: Mass Effect 2, Fallout 3, iNethack (nethack for the iphone) and Dragon Age.

I had to give up mmorpg’s as I didn’t have the time to commit with the young kids and all. But I’ve played UO, Shadowbane, WOW, AOC, Warhammer AOR & Aion. My favourite is still UO, logging on was a traitorous affair not for the fiant of heart. I’ve killed my fair share of E & One PVP wannabes. Then EA ruined it for everyone.
