Intro of: Prime
I will start with a casual distribution of greetings, some hello's, some hi's and a few "wotcha mates".
My name is Scott, and I am 26. I live in Newcastle NSW and I guess I can be considered as a casual gamer. I have all the usual qualities; working stiff 9-5, not really interested in TV (cos I hate Ads), have a few gaming devices (Computer, Xbox 360, Wii, Ps2) and I prefer to be doing something active, rather than just drinking my evening away.
First console I ever had was in 1992, and was an Atari spin off known as the Golden China. had all the basics... 40 in 1 cartridge, 16bit games, lot of replay value. I was 7. From there, we follow the usual paper trail... WC2, D2, Red Alert, Quake, Duke Nukem, Half-life, Counter Strike.... up, up and away!
At the moment, my gaming roster looks like this:
Most Active:
Diablo 2 Hardcore Ladder (as per the last 4 seasons...)
World of Warcraft (on and off at the moment)
Warhammer Endless Free Trial (Have a pay account, its been inactive for 8 months)
NavyField (In the Navy!)
Xbox360 (assortments: Borderlands, Assassins Creed 2, GoW2, Bioshock2)
The weekday fillers:
BattleForge
Heroes of Newerth beta
Guild Wars
I don't really game much over the weekends, as I do try to maintain some semblance of a social life, even if it is only a thin strand. So I spend most of my Friday nights and Saturdays engaging in bizarre random activities. Otherwise Monday through to Thursdays, with maybe Sundays I am pretty active.
I suppose the most honest answer I can give to why I would like to join TOG is probably: I feel naked. In most of my gaming life, I have always played with friends, been in guilds, communities, squads and clans... and at the moment, I have stepped out of cover of most of my gaming comrades, and I kinda feel a bit exposed. I am moving from WoW to Allods Online, and doing a sweep through the guild lists for 'Aus' brought me to a small group of TOG players. Since running around with a few of you in WaR, I thought it might be a good place to setup camp, a solid, mature gaming community that I might just find a place to fit into without being restricted by game choice.
So I guess that's about all from me.
Scott a.k.a Prime.
