Hi guys, I'm from Perth WA, I'm 28 (29 in July) I've been gaming since I was about 9 (BBC & NES), though I didn't really get into it till I was 13 and had my first taste of sweet games on a 486DX 100mhz.

I guess the games that really kicked it off for me was Doom, Doom2, Rise of the Triads, Warcraft 1&2, Dune 2, C&C, Arena: The Elder Scrolls and Star Control 2. They were my first real taste of decent games and is where my hobby really began.

At the moment I'm playing a range of games, single player and multi. Medieval 2 Total war, Prey (single player) and Battlefield 2142 online, I've been playing World of Warcraft since inception however over the last 2-3 months I really haven't logged on much at all and am considering letting the subscription lapse. Needless to say I have a very large collection of games to catch up on as WoW is a time hog.

Anyhow at the moment I would predominately play Battlefield 2142 with the TOG community, and look forward in the near future to migrating to BFBC2, and later on SC2 when it (finally) gets released.

My main reason for wanting to join TOG is to start playing more seriously and possibly even competitively. I would like to participate in ladders/tournaments. Perth is surprisingly lacking in LAN/tournament events.

Anyway, I subscribe to PCPowerplay and saw the write up, and after playing against/with TOG players in game, made the decision to at least apply. With the exception of my guild in WoW I have never been a part of a clan/guild/community before while playing an online game.
