Hello.
I'm a 37 year old gamer who still remembers seeing his first space invaders machine aged 7. Its been a fun 30 years, I spent 2K on a pc with a whopping 4 meg of RAM to play doom in 1993 and have stayed in the game ever since.
Except for WoW (retired) I come from primarily a single player background, I'm joining TOG to learn to play Battlefield BC2 primarily, I played a bit of Battlefield 2 but hated the spawn, die, spawn, die, spawn, die cycle that was prevalent. I want to play organised objective based FPS and BC2 seems a good place to start.
I read this guide which has been a big help... The Ultimate Battlefield Bad Company 2 Multiplayer Strategy Guide: Part I | InfoAddict ... but now want to turn that knowledge into practical experience, and have fun rather than be ridiculed for not knowing what to do at all times, (like where's the engineers wrench in BC2 for example).
Anyway hope I've applied correctly, thanks for your time and I hope to see you on the battlefield.
