Hello everyone,
I’m HolyRetribution, a 33 year old ex-seminarian, ex-paratrooper from Burton, OH (near Cleveland). Not surprising, due to my military background, you’ll find me most often playing FPSs, notably Bad Company 2 and Modern Warfare 2. My usual clan tag of 82ND often brings about conversations with other members of the 82nd Airborne Division. I grew up writing text-based games on my TI-99 “home computer” while playing the Atari 2600, Intellivision, and later, the Commodore 64. However, it was in the 90’s when I first played DOOM that I was hooked on FPSs.
Many of the gamers I see on Xbox Live frustrate me with their lack of understanding of the social element and “gamer code” behind computer gaming. I look forward to joining this community of mature gamers who share my love of the game, and I hope to see many of you online in the future.
