My name is James, and I've been hooked on games of some sort for as long as I can remember. I've at some point owned every major console system since the 2600. My father was a computer programmer, so PC games were always around as well. My favorite old console game would have to be Rad Racer, and my favorite old PC game would be X-COM.
I'm also a huge fan of D&D, though I didn't really get into it until 3E. At one point I was pretty involved in CCG's, having played a lot of Magic:TG (pre-199

, some L5R, and more recently the WoW TCG.
In 1997 I found my true love (or addiction) in the form of MMO's with Ultima Online. I was there maybe a week after launch and stuck around until some time during the big city Order/Chaos guild wars. Since then I've at least sampled every major MMO release, with long stints in Everquest, UO again, WoW, and WAR. I've given EQ2 a shot on more than one occasion, but I've never been able to get into the game as much as I would like. With Halas coming out at the end of this month, my nostalgia is flaring up and I'm giving EQ2 another shake. This time I'm going to try and do it right by getting involved with a community of players rather than just solo questing until I get bored.
Gaming history aside, my name is James. I'm a 27 year old who helps run a call center, rides Harleys, will be married in a little over a year, has a strong sense of humor and likes to have fun above all else. I can ramble on and on about games, but talking about myself feels like I'm writing a singles ad.
