Hi all!

Recently read an article in PCPP regarding TOG and decided to join up. Seems like the perfect place to be, considering alot of the players I encounter online are juvenile young kids who have not much better to do than mouth off behind the cover of the internet.

I'm a big fan of FPS, RTS and RPG and have been playing for some time now. I do fire up some retro games from time to time because I love that nostalgic stuff. (The Metal Slug series is an all time fave) I enjoy playing competitively and for fun, and I try not to let things get too serious. Although a bit of banter is cool when it doesn't step over the line.

I remember starting out as a young fellow playing cassette games on an old
(yet new at the time) MSX system that my parents bought me for Xmas. That would have to be my earliest memory of gaming. Since then I've played games on pretty much every system/console/handheld that I could get my grubby little hands on.

I want to join up with TOG as I don't have a whole lot of close friends who enjoy online gaming as much as I do. I am currently in the midst of a new PC build so will be looking to get my game on (competetively or not) in the next few months, and from what I can see TOG looks like the place to be for someone like myself.

Thats about it. I hope you can accept me for who I am, and hopefully we will meet on the battlefield.
