I have been playing games since the late 70s, and I have never stopped enjoying them. I mainly play classic arcade games, but I have a 360 and a wii as well. I quit playing PC games years ago because I got tired of spending all of my money on new video cards.
Now I am going back to school to try to learn game development, so I am going to start playing PC games again. One of the professors told me that I need to start playing more current games if I plan to start writing them for a iving. I have one year of school left, so now is the time.
The only PC game I know that I want to play, and have been waiting for, is diablo 3. I loved the other two, so I am excited for the new one. I want to learn to play FPSs. I played Quake, Doom, and Unreal when they were new, but haven't played mch since. A couple of painful and embarrassing attempts at Halo with friends was about it.
I like to play most types of games, so I am looking forward to playing some games with some other old farts.

I don't really want to play games that require the latest and greatest PC (until D3), but just want to play some different games.
