Fresh blood.
Hello all,
One of yours roped me into World of Warcraft and I'm pretty well hooked. My main toon is a 22nd level Elven Hunter named Harbatkin. Mtnmole thinks I should join his guild. I'm cool with that, and I'm old enough to remember saying "cool."
My buddy Geiger is older than me, but I'll be all of 3 decades in the end of August. Mtnmole is the splendid chap who got me into this mess of online gaming and recently told me how to quiet "Channel 1: general" to tune out kids who are annoying like I used to be.
So: I've aged, I've read, and I've agreed. I'd like to be active, be able to read the forums and join the guild of thorns on Proudmoore.

It's worth mentioning that I am the typical married guy with an eleven month old and another on the way who plays when the wife and child are off to bed. My time zone is GMT-7 in Montana so most of the time I'm a day behind those of you in Australia, but I do stay up pretty late and sometimes play during the day so I'm sure there'll be plenty of interaction.
My other interests include soccer and non-motorized boats. I have plans and aspirations about building wooden sea kayaks in my little garage, but have trouble finding time where I can make noise with tools - so I hop online and have some mayhem. Maybe will have some together soon. I hope so.
The name Harbatkin comes from the name of the captain who once registered the Firefly class transport Serenity with the Alliance. If you're familiar with Joss Whedon's firefly you'll know that this comes from the episode "Safe" when Mal is taking Book to the Alliance for Medical help. I guess you can see that's another interest of mine. I can't wait for the movie in September.
