A whole thread all about me...coo!

Been playing games for quite a while now - first computer game ? Probably something typed from a magazine listing on an Acorn Atom - a two-player snake/tron-racer style thing....on a flickery black n white telly. Played quite a few pen n paper rpgs back in the day (Space Opera etc). Grew up in the same town as Jell0r and Tongeh and have remained good mates for a scarily long time. We played CS leagues with [SA] Soul Assassins and later [FBA] Fishbowl AllStars (won a gentleman players award from Enemy Down in it's early days lol). We also got caught up in the testing for Desert Combat and played that like demons.

Other stuff I like: Flashpoint (not that codemasters thing), Arma/Arma2, Age of Conan, Battlefield2 (and various mods), Bad Company 2, the occasional RTS (Warhammer/Company of Heroes sort of thing).

I'd like to join ToG because... well, because you guys play almost anything and as I tend to flit from one game to another it would be nice to have a consistent place to loiter with no particular intent
