Hello

Ill start by introducing myself. Im 30 years old and from East Anglia in the UK, and have been playing games as long as I can remember, right back to the early 80s (I still remember playing bak 2 Skool on the spectrum).

I went through the usual consoles, from the era of the SNES and Megadrive (Mortal Kombat 2 <3) up to the PS2 and original Xbox, but after those I lost interest in consoles as it was around that time I got into PC gaming.

Nowadays im into my FPS/TPS games and MMOs mainly, but I also enjoy the occasional single player affair (Torchlight and Trine being recent favourites) and dip into other online co-op stuff.

Right now Im playing AoC, but I also regularly play TF2, Global Agenda, Killing Floor and Battlefield Heroes when im not busy levelling up in Hyboria. Im up for most team based shooters, but prefer the gamestyle of stuff like TF2 as opposed to BFBC2 etc. I also just bought Need for Speed:World. My gaming nickname is usually based on AL..this isnt my real name, its a play from Alnor, which is a character I made in lord of the rings online back in 2007.

I can be found as Alnor, Aldmw and Alnor10 in most stuff, but occasionally ill break the cycle and go with something different entierly. On steam im part of a group of friends under the banner of [DMW] (dead men walking) which was our own little group of players for Left 4 Dead 1&2. Most of these were people who knew each other from our lotro guild, but also meetings from a brief stint into warhammer Online.

The games id most like to be involved in with theoldergamers are TF2 and AoC, but im up for anything that grabs my interest as well, be it shooter or MMO. Id like to join you all as im looking for a multigame group that I can join in a variety of games, and somewhere where I can post little tidbits of info I find on upcoming games in general which would likely be fairly often.

Thats about it I suppose, I hope the app is ok and meets whats set out in the FAQ I have pasted into notepad. Hope to hear from you soon
