Hey Guys never really been a fan of posting on the forums, 'bout the only time i've been a regular reader was when i played Everquest 2 and my guild used the forums to keep track of loot an DKP's but i'll give it a whirl. A bit about myself, I'm 29 and living in Adelaide, Australia atm, living with my Partner and working as a refrigeration tech.

Been playing games since i was about 7 when my Mum brought home a second hand Atari and i played Pac man almost nonstop, then it was an upgrade to the NES, Master System, SNES, Megadrive, i used to love the platformers and race car sims, and side scrolling fighters like Streets of Rage Woo lol.

I was well impressed with the release of the PS1 and hired almost every new game an forever blowing my allowance until the release of the PS2. I was working by then and had saved enough money to preorder Quake 3 + the console for the release date and brought a 68cm TV lol 4 player split screen kept us up till the wee hours listening to the chaingun boom! Cranking Unreal Tournament after quake cemented my love for the FPS and playing Diablo 1 got me addicted to the Dungeon crawler.
About this time i brought a PC for organsing music and got into Diablo 2, so many Baal runs to be done trying to get the Immortal Kings set pieces arrrgh, and somewhere Command an Conquer came out and a few of my mates went mad for it so we played it alot and i got right into the RTS. I upgraded that computer when i got a free trial of Everquest(i still refer to it as Evercrack) and just went nuts for the MMoG. By the time Everquest 2 came out i was building a comp to push the specs as far as we could in those days, for the life of my time playing, mebe 2 years i never did get to run it in max( tried it again on a free trail a few months ago an thought it sucked ass lol). Somewhere here i shifted to the country for work an started playing every night for a solid few hours and getting grumpy with my work so i brought Battlefield 2 to help relieve stress, after a few days to get used to it i stopped playing EQ2 during the week an concentrated on BF2 for a couple of hours a day, not long after special forces came out and i upgraded eagerly to get the new guns, although i thought the nightvision and the teargas a bit "meh". Then came a huge stint in Battlefield 2142, my favourite of the series and best FPS of all time, i maxed rank an played in the top 10 on the score table every match for months, i used to the nic "BEER" High-Velocity for a bit of a laugh cause i was living in Whyalla at the time an beer was almost a way of life there, this is besides World of Warcraft the place i saw TOG members the most, i used to run into them all the time on the Internode servers and using the voice chat was always fun with them.

These days i dont have the same amount of time so i had to quit the MMoG scene after testing out Aion and Age of Conan, only really finding the time for some single player games an FPS's like MW2, i sunk about 200 hours into that before BFBC2 came out and i made the switch(am level 26 atm), i try to get in a couple of rounds a day if possable but hey the time demands of a fulltime job and a live in girlfriend dont give me a lot of time to game, admittedly i brought a PS3 when Red Dead Redemption came out an got God of War 3( just finished, oh the brutality lol!) as well, just for when Grand Tourismo comes out, soo looking forward to it.
I've been meaning to apply for ages as i've seen TOG in all the MMoG's an Online FPS's that i've been playing over the last few years on the PC and been impressed with their skills and attitude for years, only reason i havent joined is usually i've gotten into games by being recommended by close mates generally an join their guilds /shrug. But i'd like to become a member an rip it up with you guys in BFBC2! looking forward to it
