Hey, hey people
Hi there, forum people.
I just played a lovely game of Team Fortress 2 and was interested to see that there is a group for older gamers. I'm a 43 year old from Sydney, and my first games were Game and Watch. I've considered myself primarily a handheld gamer until a couple of years ago. That's when I began playing XBox 360 at a gaming lounge in Castle Hill, and realised that I needed to get rid of my "Nintendo thumb". After going to a launch party for MW2 I grabbed a copy for my PC and was introduced to Steam. I've been having fun learning how to use a 360 controller and the good ol' mouse and WASD to play FPS online. Life is looking good. I've always thought that an online forum with older gamers would be fun. At the moment I'm waiting for another Steam sale of Left 4 Dead 2, and then I'd like to play that co-operatively. I also love TF2 and play it a lot. I have repaired an old NES console, SNES console and N64 controller, after my nephew abandoned them. Those, along with my collection of Game and Watch and GBA titles puts me firmly in the category of retro collector. Feel free to add me to your Steam account. My username is Argeaux.
