Greetings everyone,

My gamer nickname is Full_Metal_Panda. I'm not so young, I'm nice and I'm sexy, not enougth...? Alright, since you insist...

Let's make it simple : My name is Sylvère. I'm french, I'm 27 years old and currently student as I dropped my studies to go back to it after a while. My wish is to become a journalist, even thought I like video games (alright, good luck with that, I know.)

I'm currently wishing to join TOG mainly in it's division for World of Warcraft, on the EU Thunderhorn server (my character's name in their is Tinynviolent), but I also like strategy games and play to many of them according to the mood of the moment, so if their is people to tag along with, well, why not...

My first console was a NES, even thought i was playing to invaders on my dad's computer for a few years already. My first game, probably the Ninja Turtles game that was sold with the console itself, i can't really tell what was the exact title (getting old, you know...). As for pen and paper games, my first one would have been Legend of the Five Rings, way before Wizards of the cost ruins it with it's bloody D20 system !

I want to join TOG because I played to World of Warcraft before. I played it for 1 year or so but ended up leaving because it's community wasn't fit to me, at all ! Socialization is the first thing that i look for in a MMORPG (otherwise, better playing to a solo game), and i felt like, with the raise of raids, people were more worried about improving their equipment than socializing with people and building a community together. Quite frankly, it disgusted me to the point of enraging quite a few times. I even swore to myself never to play to World of Warcraft again. But well, here I am. I guess that i somehow like some parts of the game more than some others and was wishing to try the new content, but this time trying to do it with an exclusivly mature community, to see if it works out better. "Maturity" is not really a notion that I really believe in (most people drive a car while they live in a town and that the climate is in a deplorable shape, is it not ?), but generally speaking I'm quite able of courtesy. So, well...

And beside that, hmm... I'm single and desperate. Well, just mentionning.

Anyway, I suppose that it will be enougth for a first approach. I thank you for having read that post and hope to hear about you all soon.
