Default Application for full membership

Hello. I’m EvilFlashard and I’m applying for full membership. I first encountered TOG back when I was playing battlefield 1942 (when it first came out). I remember being impressed not only with their ability to kick my arse, but also with how mature they were. I found out more about TOG when a RL friend joined (Arep). I’m looking to be part of a group of mature players that understand what it’s like to not have all day to play.

I was born in the UK 36 years ago, but now I live in the US state of Maryland. I live with my girlfriend and a very high energy dog I don’t have set days I game, I just find time when I can. (I’m looking to start having set days to play in the future). I’ve been gaming for over 25 years now. I started back when the Atari 2600 was new. Next came the C64….50 games on one audio cassette…great fun! Then came the PC in all it’s evolutions. Mixed in there was the Sega genesis, gameboy, Atari lynx, PS1 and now the PSP and Xbox 360. Oh and soon I’ll also be getting the PS3.

There’ve been far too many games to list all but 2 of my favorite series have been the wing commander games and the battlefield series. Of the latter I’ve played all the battlefield games except for heroes and Bad company 2 (so far ). Overall 1942 is still my favorite. My MMO experience includes Ultima Online (when it first came out), WoW, SWG, LOTRO, Eve online and STO.

The games I’m currently playing

360 - Assassins Creed, Team fortress 2, battlefield 1943
PC – STO, LOTRO, thinking about getting back into Eve online again and am eagerly waiting for my copy starcraft 2.

Thanks
EvilFlashard
