1. What games are you currently play/looking to play with TOG?
battlefield bad company 2

2. What was the first gaming console you own or pen and paper game you played?
Not really a dedicated game console but first computer games would definitely have been on the commodore64.. sexgames, pitfall, prince of persia, pingu and a whole bunch of stuff I don't remember - all things that loaded on tape :P

3. Why do you want to join TOG?
I used to play "pick up games" with tribes 1 which were non-competitive clan-ish type games. It made the difference between an OK game into an excellent game because it relied on teamwork. Once you reach a certain level of proficiency I think teamwork allows you to go to the next level - something you don't usually get on public servers.

4. Tell us about yourself or anything else you'd like to share. Some idea of your geographical location and the times that you play will also help.
I'm in Sydney/AEST and would like to play bad company 2. I work 9-5 and sometimes later/earlier but have pretty strange hours. I'm more of a casual gamer but would like to play against some proper villains and learn/practice with people better than me.

I'm hoping to join to see the private forums to see what activity there is in terms of competitive and semi-competitive play with this game.

2 questions:

1.) when you're not wearing your clan tag does the CoC apply? I've read it and 99% of the time I'd be ok anyway (i'm just a mellow kind of person).. but having said that I wouldn't like to think someone else is going to be upset if I use the word "shit" when describing an event (as opposed to describing an individual) on the odd occasion - just putting it out there.

2.) Do you have try outs/skill based ranking/determination?

We do expect a level of maturity from out members when playing online. However, it would be unrealistic to expect people to act like Mother Teresa.

As for your second question, yes we do have a competitive skill-based squad in BFBC2, as well as a number of competitive squads that are less demanding.
