Hey all, I have known about you guys for some time but I have been somewhat reluctant to join this organization. Not from any negative experience with TOG, just the potential for politics that sometimes comes with large bodies of people.

However after many negative experiences with the majority of servers I have had mostly very good games on TOG servers and was very happy to see trolls crash and burn last night. Combine that with the fact that I was in a squad of TOG players just playing the game and having a ball pushed me towards joining up.

I am trying not to be too big a toss but I want to get a better understanding of what you people think on a couple of maters that may be important to you. I figure I ask now and if there is disagreement than no prob's as I have not actually joined yet.

ATM I only play Battlefield BC2 so it is easy to be specific.

Tubes. Don't care if I get shot with it, don't care if I use it. That's what it is meant for. Soft target and anti personal.While I vastly prefer the Medic role and charging in like a maniac I will use the tube if I need it. Has it's uses but generaly 200 rounds of belt fed goodness pumping through 1000w speakers floats my boat

Spawn Camping. I do not recognize this in BFBC2 Rush mode. It is a war game and the objective is to over run the enemy base and blow the mcoms. I will run around like a maniac gunning down as many enemy troops as I can to help my side. In conquest I tend not to go near the enemy base but I will generally always take the shot if it presents itself.

Resuscitating. I will rez whenever I can. I don't give a toss about Kill/death ratios. Don't want a rez? don't die. Get in there and fight, those are the teams tickets soldier!

So there you go. I see nothing unsporting at all in the above. I play the game how the designers have made it but if that is unacceptable to TOG then that's fine and I will see you all in game just as an everyday player.

Heh if it is ok then the name is Shane, 43, married with no kids. I don't mind having several vodkas Friday night playing with some mates online. I can swear with the best of them but can also keep it real if company requires. Treat the game as a game and if I am having no fun I will just log out. Rarely txt talk in game but will yabber away when on voice coms.

First game console? Hmmm can't remember but it only played pong and tennis lmao

Why join TOG? Admin'd servers, less bullshit, more team play.
