I have always been a Game Player and have always enjoyed the "Time Out" and "Breathing Space" that escaping to a game world offers. I have generally been a single game player dabling in MultiPlayer every now and again, but have recently discovered the excitement of playing MultiPlayer Battlefield Bad Company 2.

I started gaming with the ZX Spectrum on Audio Casette many many years ago and graduated to the SEGA Games Console. From that time on I have pretty much stuck to the PC, finding I am pretty efficient with the keyboard as opposed to the Games Controllers. I have enjoyed playing the Duke Nukem, Wolfenstein, Doom, Unreal, Grand Theft Auto and Medal of Honor Series. Pretty much any 1st Person Shooter.

It is always nice to feel like someone belongs to something especially in an arena in which you may be considerd not the norm. Playing PC Games at the age of 45 certainly fits into this I beleive and so it would be great to belong to a group of like minded, like aged people. Hence my desire to join TOG, who have had the sense to create a place for us "Older Gamers".

I live in Melbourne Australia and with a family find that my best gaming times are between 8pm and Midnight, but also play during the day between 12 and 2pm when work allows.

Hoping that this application meets witha favourable response.

Also put up a thread introducing yourself to the rest of the BC2 mob of loonies.
