Application for Full Membership
I'm a very old gamer living on the shores of Jervis Bay, NSW that would like to get out of the nursery servers that proliferate the fiber these days. I also have a good mate that participates in a TF2 organization and seems to enjoy the camaraderie so I thought I'd join TOG and give it a try.
First strategy game?? Board game of RISK back in '68 but started on the CPU board with the SSI (Strategic Simulations Inc) games on the Apple II around '78. Had all their games along with the first FPS(PC)?, Castle Wolfenstein. Switched to IBM PC games in mid-80's, either flight sims or strategy games. Starting in the mid-90's traveled extensively for work and spent a lot of time in hotels in foreign countries playing strategy and early FPS games evening and weekends as I'd see most of the sites before. Recent history, BF142, BFE Secret Weapons, BF Vietnam, BF2, Age of Empires (all), Empire:Total War, multiple flight simulators (I hold a AUS CIR license, multi, pressurized rating). COD series, COD MW2 (2 many hacks)... Open to join team play or practice if I can keep up with the youth. |
