Default Heya

Sup all,

Wanted to throw in an application if I could. Basically, I have gamed my whole life. I am 31 now(ugg!) and fortunately my father was the cool dad on the block when I was growing up. He was ahead of the technology curve and had a Commodore 64 setup in our basement right when I was old enough to learn how to use it. Played consoles and all that good stuff growing up but at the end of the day I always turned to PC Gaming for true enjoyment.

It all really began for me when I installed Rainbow Six back in 1999 and played online for the first time. It's been 11 years and I have not looked back. I rocked out Rainbow Six competitively on my 56k modem up until about 2002.

I then began about a 4 year stint with Counter-Strike. Played versions 1.3 to 1.6 and along the way made some good friends. We jumped on the CS:Source bandwagon right away. I lead a team of core players through the first few seasons of CAL. We eventually made it to CAL-Main in Season 3. This was probably the highlight of my online career lol.

I then proceeded to get a real job and my gaming time has declined since. I did manage to play DarkFall Online pretty seriously for a year but eventually had to quit due to the heavy time sink.

I am now back to playing a variety of shooters. Combat Arms, COD:MW2, and a few other random games. This is what lead me to this spot.

The more games I play the more I realize I cannot stand playing with kids anymore. I would like nothing more than to be involved in a community of like-minded gamers who are still passionate about gaming. I am not ready to raise the white flag on gaming. I still love to compete and I still love PC Gaming with all of my being!

Just a few quick personal notes; I am from the east coast, Buffalo to be exact. Also, my living consists of being a beer salesman so I would hope that would speak to my interpersonal skills. I can pretty much get along with anyone and I bring absolutely NO attitude to the table. That is what is exciting because I am sure there are many people in this community that say the same thing.

Thanks for reading!
