Hi everyone,
I've just joined your community and wanted to complete my full membership by introducing myself.
I'm British, but I live in beautiful Estonia.
I've been into the gaming scene since day 1. Got my 1st PC when Ka-50 Hokkum and MSFS were the only games available, migrating from an Amiga 500. I've loved seeing it flourish into what it is today. Great times we live in!
I play many hours a week on my PC. And amazingly I really do still have a life too! hehe. Best of both worlds
My primary love is the RPG genre. That also spills into the MMO field, although I haven't been on an MMO since I left LoTRO a few months back. My favourite game at the moment is Dragon Age: Origins.
Secondary, is RTS. Any will do as long as they're well made. Company of Heroes is my long term love from the genre. But StarCraft II is my latest.
In reality, I'll play most types of games. Again, as long as they are well made and have decent entertainment value and are not just some rehashed plop thrown out to the masses.
I'm not really a PvP player, but I've had my moments. I do really enjoy co-op gaming though. Especially in MMO's. Full groups more than Raids, but Raids can be fun too, with the right leadership.
I also enjoy building high performance gaming rigs. I've never bought an off-the-shelf PC. It's a fascinating subject for me and one I love to talk about, with like-minded people.
So, that's me from a gaming perspective... Hope to meet you somewhere around the community.
Cheers!
Herb
