New to the site, from downunder
Hi all,
I'm a 32 year old gamer living in Melbourne, Australia. I saw this site mentioned on the Whirlpool forums. To date I have mostly played offline, but I think that's mostly because most of my online escapades with racing games seem to have landed me in rooms with a bunch of kids who want to turn the game in to a destruction derby. It looks like this place might give me a chance of finding some people out to enjoy the racing instead of the crashing! I'm mostly in to driving/racing games. I've been a keen racing game fan ever since the first Test Drive game on Commodore 64. I used to play that sucker on a tiny 34cm TV, and thought it was just brilliant (the Lotus Esprit Turbo was always my favourite!). Racing games have certainly come a long way since then! These days, I'm mostly a console player. I play Forza 3 on xbox 360 and also Dirt 2, Grid and NFS: Shift on PS3. I'm hanging out for the release of GT5, and also thinking about picking up a copy of F1:2010 (though I don't usually get too excited about F1 games). That's it from me.
