First I must make a request to change my account name to TwinHerder, I did not realize that there were no options to create a forum alias.

I am currently interested in playing Lord of the Rings Online, So I am requesting to join The Osgiliath Guard.

My first RPG was AD&D 2nd edition, shortly there after was AD&D and the white wolf games. I was the proud owner of a NES with gun and power pad, in 1988, but first played on an atari 2600 at my grandparents house. First computer games were Zork II and kings quest 2, and my first "online" game was the original vga battletech or meridian 59 (on a 14400 modem!).

I play most of the commercial released MMOs as they come out, and most enjoy dissecting their game systems, especially economy and crafting. Puzzle Pirates and EVE online being 2 games that I love to look at, but cant play very long.

Though I am interested in almost everything, Ive spent most of my character points in Cooking, computer software design, communication theory, and teaching. If your looking for a recipe, fix to something that has gone wrong in cooking, or want to discuss game systems and how they affect the way people interact and the sorts of stories that can be told with them, I'm your guy. I'm also a good resource for interesting math and science activities for ages 7 and up.

Most of my time these days is taken up by fighting the entropy caused by my two girls (born oct 2007) and providing domestic and emotional support for my wife who is a second year Ob/Gyn resident (aka never home). When not dealing with those obligations I am exploring a game or maintaining our house in one way or another.
