[DONE] Application for TOG Full Membership

Hello all,

My name's Kris (powerbonger being my internet nickname that I made on a whim years ago...no, I don't bong or anything, it just stuck one afternoon when I was still in school and it *never* let go). I'm 27 and have been playing video games for as long as I can remember. I stumbled upon TOG when I started to get frustrated about all the younger people I play online with on Steam (guess this isn't new with you all - the typical nerd rage and stuff is tiring). Got the idea to search for a community of players on my age group, and here I am.

What games are you currently play/looking to play with TOG?
I'm mostly playing Alien Swarm and Pirates, Vikings, & Knights II on Steam nowadays, but I just got my hands on Battlefield 2 Complete Collection and will get into that.

When I'm by myself, I usually just play single-player games to relax with after work (Bejeweled? Yep. Dragon Age? Sometimes.) Online, I usually go for the games I can join and leave at a moment's notice if need be without any team repercussions.


What was the first machine you played games on or pen and paper game you played?
I don't remember which came first, but the earliest I remember playing with are a NES (or Famicom, where I'm from) and the C64 machine from our neighbor when I was a kid. Pen-and-paper game was AD&D and was almost always DM.


Why do you want to join TOG?
This probably is common around here, but yeah, as I said above, I want to play with people closer to my age, who understand that there are other things in my life I have to do and not rage on me when I go AFK to tend to my mom or answer a call from work.


Tell us about yourself or anything else you'd like to share.
I just fulfilled a childhood aspiration lately: I finally got to buy my own Nerds candy. I've collected three different boxes of em so far.
