Hey Guys,

I'm interested in joining like minded people with an enjoyment for gaming and respect for others playing the game online. A good old shootup session is always good.

My first console was an Atari 2600, first game on there was Adventure, and Combat which you got for free with the unit. Had about 30+ games.

I'm 39, just turned that last week actually. I'm a South African, staying in Australia, moved here permanently about 3 years back with the wife.

I enjoy playing both on my PS3 and XBox 360, don't really have a preference which ever takes my fancy for the day or game. You find my on Kners1s on both online systems.

My favourite game types would most certainly be FPS and Racing. I tend not to even finish the single campaign in most games, just jump right into the online sessions.

I'll play a little RPG when I feel in the mood for that, but not big on it as it really takes just way to long.

Been playing Black Ops on the PS3 for the last 2 weeks, and waiting for my copy of Vanquish for the 360, should be here before the weekend hopefully.

In real life, you'll find me sitting behind the computer doing SQL Server development/reporting/dba for an online casino, 18 brands actually. The fraud department keeps me very busy

Enjoy the outdoors, ride into work on motorcycle everyday, that can be a challenge dodging the crazy drivers at times.

Oh yes, just downloaded EVE, going to try a trial see what thats like.

Basically wanting to join and meet up with other guys for a good organised gaming session.

As you are now trying out EVE, have a think about Pirates of the Burning Sea (PotBS), its a lot like EVE except its not space ships but pirates sailing the spanish age during the time of Blackbeard. Wooden ships and iron men duelling each other for honor and profit in swashbuckling sea battles as well as pitched battle boarding parties. As a pirate you can sink and steal their ships for your own nefarious ends.

If you are looking for something new to try and want to play some MMORPG with some fellow gamers, check out Pirates of the Burning Sea (PotBS).

As the TOG Society Leader for PotBS, we are relaunching the division to coincide with the change to Free to Play business model.

Joining now means you get in at the ground floor of what I expect will be a fun filled active game division with lots to do.

I expect to start a new character playing group (max of 6 per group) to jointly play through the starter missions.

Initially PvE groups for missions and eventually open sea PvP once we reach the max level cap of 50 and equip ourselves with the best ships in the game.

Initially we will be focussing on a Pirate Society on Antigua (US peak playtime) server.

With a non-TOG sanctioned group playing on Roberts (European peak playtime) server as French nationals until we have enough players to establish our own economic supply chain for cost effective production of ships and consumeables for society members.

And post your forum name and ingame avatar name on our sign up list for the Pirate faction on Antigua (US peak playtime) once you have downloaded the game and signed up to play for free via the Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) launcher 3.

I recommend that later if you are serious about playing longer term you pay US$14.99 for a one month subscription so you can get access to a full account which does not limit you to max of two ships, two dockyard, two construction sites and two character slots and force you to pay real cash for everything ingame.

By subbing for one month you become clasified as a Premium Player so get the same privileges as a former returning player gets who doesn't currently subscribe to the monthly fee (Captain's club).

Note that it doesn't matter what time zone you are in as initially you will be levelling up via PvE missions so you will be mainly grouping with Society members, so although we are Australian based society, we have members from the US and UK playing this game, so you are likely to find someone online whenever you feel like playing some PotBS.
