Membership Application

Greetings and salutations to all Older Gamers from Aggamemnon.

I am in my mid-fifties and have enjoyed many types of computer gaming over the last few decades. Although lately I have become (as time permits) somewhat addicted to First Person Shooters. My favourite at this time is Day of Defeat. I can say that I have always enjoyed FPS's however and can remember my anticipation when Doom was first released.

My first games? Hmm That's a hard one, but would have to say Battleship, Mousetrap and Chess.

As to why I would like to join TOG? I am a single dad raising two little ones ( Yes at my age!) and spend my days innundated with juvenile prattle. In my quest to find an acceptable arena to play DOD online I have been plagued by the antics of the younger players and am searching for a server with members online who display maturiety in gameplay. Plus I enjoy a little adult conversation from time to time.

As I said before I am a single dad in my mid-fifties and I am also somewhat disabled due to a motorcycle accident some years back. I live in Sunny Queensland, though it has not been so sunny of late. I am an ex-serviceman and after service became a professional in the body-armour industry. Have worked & travelled overseas, but enjoy being home in Aust. I have a good sense of humor, I must have or would have been driven insane whilst trying to raise two kids alone.
