[DONE] Introduction Application: Varchld

Hi all

I go by the nick Varchld (intentionally left out the 'i') in almost everything I play, and I have been playing games since about as long as I can remember.

I started off on a BBC Microcomputer my dad got from work, playing games like Berserk, Frogger, Pingu and some weird Dr Who game that I was terrible at.
Went on to 16 bit consoles and hung around on the Mega Drive for a fair while before betting my first PC. A 166 MMX which could run Mechwarrior 2 like a dream.
That machine lasted longer than it should have, but was supplemented with various consoles to keep it company.

Anyway, present day I have been a little bored with many games that come out, they don't hold my interest for too long.
BC2 has been good to me however, and I also play League of Legends with a few friends about two or three matches a day.
Beyond that I just play a little smattering of everything. Picked up Empire Total War again, playing AaAaAA!!! and Hammerfight, L4D2, Mount and Blade. It varies a lot and they tend to be occasional things.

I'm not really interested in playing a in any competitions, never was one for it. I just like to play with people who aren't assholes pretty much. I'm a top quarter player in most things but when playing to achieve something competitively I just get irritated after the match.
Maybe that'll change at some point, but i'm not bothered if it doesn't.

That said, I am interested in playing BC2 and maybe a little LoL with some TOG members, and maybe i'll pick up a few other games of mine again to jump in a friendly match with.

I'm mainly looking to join TOG to reestablish a connection to any gaming group which is something i've drifted away from, due to not actively being in competitions as well as guild/clan breakups or gradual distancing.

I think i've typed a little much, but it'll do.
