Hey TOG,
I am applying to join up as a full member.
As a married 39 yo father of 2, I live on the Gold Coast and work as a Formwork Carpenter in high rise construction.
I grew up in England and cut my teeth on Space Invaders, Donkey Kong, Gorf, Pheonix, Battle zone, tempest, Defender, Ye Ar Kung Fu, Galaxians, pacman etc.
Spent most of my lunchtimes (and lunch money) at the local video game arcade and ended up working for the owner, flipping burgers and helping to fix machines.
Ressurected a full size Defender and kept it going by scrounging boards from all the local funfair arcades, when I was 20 something and pretty much left the games alone until I downloaded the demo of BF2142 onto my piece o crap pentium 4 pc.
Loved the game, but my PC didnt (as it was too slow), which then developed into an interest for building a custom PC.
I then discovered the COD franchise at modern warfare and now confess to being a lost cause.
I still play BF2142 every now and then, BFBC2 too and sometimes TF2. But I really love MW2 & B.OP's.
But MW2 doesnt really get a look in now as IWnet fails...bigtime and now BO has dedicated servers, why wait ten minutes to go into a random lobby with over 250ms Ping.
I love HC Domination, play for points not kills and always carry a launcher for bringing down enemy air support.
Am looking to find a clan to play tactical COD ie team play with communication etc.
I am also interested in PC hardware/OC'ing etc and setting up a server to host full time Hardcore Domination, HQ objective based games.
Interests I hope to persue in your forums.
