TOG - The Older Gamers

Hello All,
My name is Peter and my handle is Dunluce. I am from Wagga Wagga, New South Wales in Australia. I'm supposing I need to be that specific as this isn't just an AU site. I'm married with two kids and Gaming is my release/escape time. I generally game of an evening when the kids and missus are asleep but thats not a given. No particular night, sporadically whenever the chance arises.

I broke my gaming virginty on a Microbee PC. I don't know if anyone even remembers them. They weren't the most popular choice at the time. Was always wishing for a commodore 64 or apple but my dad loved them and had an enthusiast group. Played the likes of Merlin, Kilopeed, Pacman, Emu joust ( ausiie tittle definitely) asteriods. Loved space invaders. And the old arcade machines playing bubblebobble.

I was a PC gamer but now concentrate on the PS3 console. Was tired of always not quite having the specs to have the latest game on the PC. I am particularly interested in FPS and want to find some like minded clans/guilds to play all the COD titles and Bad Company titles. I have a relative thats a full member and we have exhausted all the co-op titles we can play together and want to try multiplayer again without the teenage rage machines that love to use cheats and hacks to win at all costs. I don't mind losing by my lack of skill but i don't really like being raged at by teens that think "newbs" should bother even logging in.

I'd much rather be ribbed by persons my own age bracket that realise it is just a game and games are supposed to be enjoyable. And also pl;ay against some people that may not have the hand eye co-ordination of a jedi knight.

I do use hotmail for email but have added TOG to my contacts so all message will go through and not to junk.
