and express my grateful apreciation for not PODing me yesterday in a wormhole in EvE. One of the first things you should know about me would be that I've been gaming so long, I programmed my first games with 16k RAM once my Dad brought home our first Apple.
Soon I was writing MUDs and gaming over phone lines until I grew up and helped build the internet...mostly to play games. I've played MMO's since before they were called that, and really enjoyed Dark Age, EverQ, WWII, and hundreds of others through the years.
Eventually, time caught up to my online gaming experience, along with everything else in life. Gaming with youngsters was fun on the Soccer field twice a week and every weekend with my kids, but online it became apparent that not all children recieve the attention they need to deal with matters in a mature manner.
As a good friend of mine eventually pointed out, reading over "Barrens" chat wasn't what I wanted out of the few hours I could fit into online games each week. I'm not exactly an old fuddy-duddy, but I seem to enjoy gaming more around folks who deal with things slightly more maturely.
It's had an impact on my online gaming since organizations of more experienced people are hard to find. I like the name of the website, and look forward to meeting the rest of the crew. Hope to see you in EvE soon.
