Full TOG Membership Application
G'day,
1. I am 39, working fulltime as Radiation Engineer in the foremost Cancer Centre in Melbourne and Australia. I am also taking flying lessons for commercial helicopter licence. Other than that I am pretty much like most people, paying home mortgage, weeding the back yard and keeping up with my choirs. 2. The first computer I ever had was a Amstrad 128K, and being a "Wingnut" I rapidly latched on to the genre of simulators. Later on; A500 and enjoyed Falcon, Interceptor, Gunship 2000, etc. 3. Since DCS Black Shark was released some 1,5 years ago, it has been my preference and will continue to be so for a long time. I'll tell you, it is so close to reality, forget about FSX, I am using DCS BS to rehearse and recap my flying lessons (just turn off the auto). 4. -So why TOG. -Because it is exactly the right forum for someone like me. Spending time with people with similar interests is always better, and TOG seems to be the medium I need. Besides, I did recently run into TOG members on the DCS/FC2 server and enjoyed that so immensely much that I just had to find more information... Rotor head for sure! I've been sniffing on DCS A10-C as well, but fixed wing is a bit off topic for me right now. As I am gearing up for celebrating the new year, I most likely will not be flying on the server until next year.
