• Games you are currently playing or wish to play with TOG : I currently play, Bad Company 2, Alien Swarm, Trucking Simulator (I drove transport trucks in Vietnam and this is a very realistic simulator), Half Life 2 Deathmatch and Team Fortress 1.
• Information about yourself : I'm a single 50 year old gamer, I drive forklifts for IKEA in the Sydney warehouses, I am a Vietnam veteran and love my beer.
• Information about your gaming history (i.e. first gaming console, or pen and paper game, etc) : The first console I ever bought was a Dreamcast, I had over 200 hours of Crazy Taxi before I started in PC gaming.
• Why you'd like to join TOG : I'd very much like to join a team of older, mature gamers that know how to play games and have fun. I also want to be able to play on the TOG servers as a member and uphold TOG's prestigious position in the gaming community.
• Anything else you'd like to share : As a team of older gamers I'm quite prepared to share many stories with you from my tour in Vietnam with 5RAR in 1970, one such I will tell you in this application. This is a narrative I wrote based on true events I experienced in the Phuoc Tuy province.
  
  So I was sitting here staring at the water, wondering what monsters were down there hiding, plotting, waiting to destroy us all. It's inevitable you know. Just give it time. Anyways, an old man came and sat on the bench and started to tell me a story about the war, I'm not really sure what war. Not really sure there even was an actual war. But what's important is he believed there was one, anyways, they were surrounded. His friends were dieing. Gunfire, explosions, fire, chaos, and death. He was surrounded by it. Then apparently it all got quiet and there was a bright light high up in the sky. He could hear beauiful music. There was a feeling of peace. Then, this ball of light landed on the dirt not far from him and out of the light he saw a giant hairy leg. Apparently it was bigfoot. Bigfoot came from space. He came offering hope and peace for us all. All we had to do was follow him. Follow him into the light. Some of the men followed him and were engulfed in the light and were never seen again. But this old guy stayed away. He wasn't going near that light. He knew bigfoot was up to no good and he wasn't going to take any chances. Aiming his gun at the light he unleashed a fire storm on bigfoot (and all his men who followed bigfoot into the light). The old man got quiet and stared at me. It was a long uncomfortable stare that I wished would just end. But it didn't. He had a heartattack and died. So, there I was sitting next to this old man who told me a confusing story and just died. I checked his wallet, he had $5 in it. I took the money and went to call 911.

In closing, I'm pretty active in the gaming community and would love a chance to join TOG. I'm 50 years old so I am very mature and I'm also quite adequate at online gaming. I aspire to join your Bad Company 2 team to play in online ladders.

I'd like to dedicate the approval of this application to eSports gaming Australia, the CyberGamer community and my lifelong partner Eduardo. We've recently announced our elopement and are moving into his mother's villa on the Gold Coast while she moves to a community relaxation homestead in Wagga Wagga. He is just so great. I don't think I could've kept living alone after my ex-wife left me for that zookeeper in Adelaide.
