I have gamed for many a year, commencing with some very cool toys in my cot and making the natural progression to Dungeons & Dragons. I still occasionally play AD&D (1st Edition) but spend more time in the fantastic online recreation of Tolkien's world, LOTRO. I do sometimes play other games, such as Battlefield 1942 & 2142, and have completed the 12 step program for my Civ addiction, although I do still feel the compulsion for just one more turn.

When I'm not immersed in fantasy worlds I like to solve complex mathematical problems with an etch-a-sketch and play with crayons. Sometimes, just for giggles, I'll swap some pieces between jigsaw puzzles that other people are working on. I know that they like the challenge.

I have a couple of friends that have been heavily involved in ToG, and they have recommended ToG as a group of like minded individuals (I'll just have to hide my jigsaws).
