TOG - The Older Gamers

Hey all fellow players,

I'll like to introduce my self for full membership on TOG.

I am 31 years old from Norway, have a son at 3 and living with her mother (not married - at least not yet).
I started playing Dungeons and Dragons (pen and paper rpg) at age 14, but first at age 21 i really started to enojt the full content of that game. I've been a player, but mostly a game master making epic stories for my good friends to have fun with. I still play D&D, but have a little break as GM to have time for family and computer games

My first game (aside from games at Comodore 64) was Baldurs Gate and I've played all D&D-based games since - last Neverwinter Nights 2. I also played Diablo from the start.
I've been through all the notables (and less notable) RPGs for computer since then. That includes Oblivion, Gothic 3, The Witcher, Two Worlds 1 and 2, Fallout 3 and New Vegas and of course Dragon Age with all addons/expansions. Aside from that I enjpy FPSs from Tom Clancy (Spliter Cell, Ghost Recon and Rainbow Six).

My first MMO was Guild Wars (luckly I started with Factions and bought Nightfall the week after) which I've enjoyed playing for 3 years. Other MMOs I've played i Age of Conan(since launch, with a 6 month break before they got the game back with patch 1,5), Allods Online and now Rift in the wait for Guild Wars 2.

I've played Rift since beta 5, bought the game and can't wait for the open beta that starts about this time tomorrow

I got a tip from a fellow Maran (Guild Wars mature alliance) about TOG. We wanna hook up in Rift too and he tiped me on this site on the Mara forums.

I would like to be a full member of TOG because I enjoy having fun in-game with people I know (!) who are, and to maybe join some of the Rift mature guilds or guilds in other MMOs that folks wanna play. As for Rift i see the pre of being a part of a community from the start so that i know what I'm joining when deciding to join a guild (so i dont need to test guilds all over the servers before I find one that I fit in).

I'm currently playing on a self built computer with Intel i7 quad core, 6gb ram, gtx 470 screencard, installed in my Haf-X tower (love that tower!)

Please ask if i left something out from my description - x-ing fingers for full membership B)
