I've always been a game player. From board games and cards to poker and pc games. My first pc was an Alan Sugar invention. The Amstrad. It had a green monitor and I played the very first games available - all in monochrome. Eventually technology advanced and full colour screens became available.
I always remember being absolutely fascinated by "real" little soldiers actually crawling around the linear battlefield in....was it "A Bridge Too Far"?
War is what I'm all about. Whether it be great strategy games like The Sudden Strike series or FPS games from Wolfenstein 1 up to, and my absolute clear favourite,... Battlefield Bad Company 2. And everything in between. Multi-player only became possible for me fairly recently once South Africa Telkom managed to provide faster adsl lines.

I'm currently playing about 4 to 6 hours a day/nigh. It's infectious.
I'm 63 years of age...a real old gamer! And I play with the passion of a 14 year old. Except my fingers aren't as nimble as they should be!
