Default I saw the light so I'm going in..

Hi there,

I'm FreddyZ and i usually use that name to play online, along with its alter-ego Freddy-Z.

I'm in computers since school.. long time ago. Bought my fist 'computer', zx81, on christmas 1981. Before that, i've played some 'games' on my Ti-57.. was fun..
Switched to a Vela (Apple II+ compatible) near end of '83. Who remembers Conan on Apple?.. First joystick was ugly, 5"1/4 floppies were common back then.

Modern period started with a PC-compatible Leo. 20Mhz, 20Mb hdd were not cheap in 1989. Upgraded little by little, with 3"1/2 floppies, bigger scsi hdd and 486-33 cpu, it's now in computer heaven. It saw me playing Golf (can't remeber exact name), then after Windows (tm) installation, more and more games like Doom 1, Indianapolis 500, Vette, Grand Prix, Starcraft, Command & Conquer, etc

First real on-line game I really played was (is) Battlefield 2. Now BF1942, WarHammer DoW-II, Supreme Commander 2 are still waiting for me to use then.

In real life, i'm currently living near Paris, France. I was a teacher but due to a 'burn-out', i've switched to computer/network maintenance(?) in secondary schools.
.. it's fun..

That's all i thnk, so..
Nice to meet you all and please take care of me.
