I guess the best place to begin is with my gaming history. I got started on the C-64 with The Bard's Tale and have been hooked on computer gaming ever since! And I really miss making those maps on graph paper . I started on-line gaming with MUDs and then played Asheron's Call for about 2 1/2 years working a mage up to level 85. I'm currently playing Runes of Magic with several different types of characters in the mid 50's level wise. I favor mages and ranger types. Arlond is usually my mage character.

I have pre-ordered Rift and plan to play on that as I have really enjoyed the beta. Since I'm a bit older (64) and have a full time job teaching mathematics at a university, I need a more relaxed guild with people who are serious gamers but who understand that gaming sometimes does not have first priority in life. I'm really looking forward to making some new gaming friends, and getting to run around in Rift exploring and having fun. Looking forward to getting in-game soon and meeting folks!
