Bashful
Default Hi There

I would like to apply for membership into TOG.

I have been playing games since I had an Atari 2600 back in the days when 16 colour games made people jaws drop, joysticks were virtually indestructable (seemed to be millitary grade) and beards were a pre-requisite for game developers. I had a game called 'Maze' which was simply a blocky maze with a square in it you had to navigate using the Atari Paddle (tm) (which was like an egg timer glued onto a remote control), but since playing that I never looked back (thinking back it seems a bit crazy but I loved that game). I am more partial to fantasy role playing games than any other though, and that generally is the case when I read too.

I won't bore you with too much history but I have been playing online games pretty much continuously since Asheron's Call came out, moving onto games such as Everquest (1 & 2), WOW, COH/COV to name but a few. However, recently I have been hooked on "Rift" after playing from Beta 4. I am totally addicted to it. I love playing a tank so I am guessing that once release hits in March I will be rolling one on the Guardian side preferably on a NA PVE server.

I really want to join a guild that is mature and easy going. I know a few of TOG's members (mainly from your lotro branch) and they suggested that I apply due to your playing ethics (not too strict on being a hardcore raider, but giving a guild a community feel to it). Its nice now and again to do 'your own thing' but having a friendly guild makes the online experience worth it.

I have been in a few really good guilds before (especially when I played Asherons Call) but as the game aged all the players drifted to other games and since then have never found that 'family' spark since. I am hoping that with TOG I will be able to settle myself in for the long haul.

Sorry, did I say I wont bore you with too much history

Anyways, about myself, I am married with 3 furry kids (cats not werewolves) who we dote on, and would like to think of myself as easy going. I can play most evenings but not crazy late as I do need my beauty sleep and during the weekends can give quite a bit of time. I enjoy playing music, watching tv and movies (my favourite is Fringe at the moment), reading books (my favouite is the Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan) and dont exercise half as much as I should.

My wife will also be applying under the name "Eradaca".

Hope to hear from you soon.
