Hello,

I'm Cakemeister, 45 years old, from Houston, TX. I grew up during the golden age of arcade games, Pacman, Galaga, and so on. I have never lost my love of video games, and gaming in general. I am a regular at the Build Your Own Arcade Controls forum. I'm not particularly good at most video/arcade games, but I am fairly good at other games, such as contract bridge.

At the moment the game I am playing most is Starcraft 2. I'm in the bronze league. However, I play quite a few of the games that TOG members play, such as Guild Wars. (I have the regular game and the GW:EN expansion). And I play L4D once in a while for a change. I also fire up Team Fortress 2 and play Pyro.

I do not have the fast twitch reflexes that the younger gamers do, but I always try to improve.

It is not in my personal code of conduct to swear at or be abusive to forum members.

I got a real laugh at how this forum denotes older gamers as 25 years or older. But, I guess if you can rent a car at age 25, that makes you mature enough to join this forum.

I would appreciate being admitted as a full member of TOG.
