[DONE] Ode to a Geezer

Howdy fellers!

I have just dropped both my EvE accounts and currently switched to Perpetuum at the recommendation of a very good and long time friend. I was approached by the 'unspeakable' and after a nice conversation about my newbishness and such was invited to attempt to join a bunch of 'Old People' who share the same enjoyment and the ability to escape this what we call ... reality.

As for myself ... I do recall some racing game on the Atari ... though the Commodore 64 and 128 were totally the champs. They beat down the silly Nintendo any day. I love playing Sword of Fargoal ... for the short time I could before the Commodore would overheat and shut down ... or whatever it did. lol Funny thing is, it was the only game we played that the Commodore would 'reject' after a certain amount of time.

Just fyi ... I do remember D & D ... though ... I think peek a boo was the first game I ever played. Darn mommies taking my 'game' virginity.

I figure now would be a great time to join a bunch of 'Old Farts' like myself with a similar mentality of responsibility and life long lessons learned, light hearts and the ability to smile, laugh, love and realize that games are just that ... NOTHING to take TOO serious. Life is hard enough, games should not ruin our lives ... or kill you ... it has happened before ...

Im 33 as of 1-31, my gf is now known as 'baby baker' and for some reason she calls me 'baby maker' ... I don't get it ... lol.

Sadly I am unemployed currently ... and to make things more nightmarish I am forced to buy a replacement vehicle ... now I have to think of my 7 week old creation that we are baking ... >sighs<.

However, I am trying for an Apprenticeship for Housing Electrical, it is a 5yr 'contract' and I would start off at around 12.50 / hr without any prior knowledge.

Ever had a moment where you wonder ... 'what am I doing'? This is starting to feel like that moment.

Firstly now that you're a member you'll need to jump into the TOG Perpetuum Forums and say hi and have a read of the green sticky threads in there to get you started off on the right track.
Also don't forget to register your details in the Perpetuum Division Register so we can get you added in the game quickly.
