Heya I hate these intro things...always makes me feel like I am writing a singles ad..makes me nervous, Anyways... I am, I guess applying for full membership so ... I guess here goes...
I am a 38 yo female from Victoria AU, been gaming since Atari. My fav game back then was Battlezone.. (tho if you tell anyone I am old enough to have played Atari there could be trouble  )The game that really got me hooked into gaming was N.E.S Zelda. Being a prolific reader I guess Zelda was a natural hook for me into gaming. It was that game that pushed me into loving RPGs so much that I followed Zelda from console to console. Thinking about it now and the money I spent all the way to dissapointing Wii, my pocket hurts  and honestly, I cant remember how many other games I have played.Having become dissolutioned with console RPGs I discovered PC RPGs, everything from Dink Smallwood onwards. Regarding MMO's, I am admittedly newish. I did try WOW for five mins but stuck with Warhammer until now Rift. (I am, however, sorry that I missed DAOC in its prime) I love PVP and can often be found yelling at the computer monitor. I am not a lover of Vent and will refuse to speak, however, Having seen TOG around Rift alot, my curiosity has peaked...Being burnt out from the welfare field, it would be nice not to listen to yet another teen having an "oh noes mummy didn't buy me a pony...slash wrists" moment. Workwise,, I after a long break, I am currently reestablishing myself in the policy writing field as well as looking after a 4yo grand daughter. (Dont ask) Looking forward to meeting some of you in PVP... you have a better then average day.  Ps be warned...I can be extremely outspoken... if this happens... the words shut up often suffice...however, they are also no guarantee PPS: Cant give you a screen name that I can guarantee atm... I am still trying new classes, shards etc in Rift...tho my crafter is oogy, mage...and the kinda main is Erm, ranger on Tearfall. Ty again and be well |
