[DONE] New member (well hopefully!) intro

Let me start off by saying hi ... so .... HI!

I first game across TOG in a post on the Rift forums, back when I was avidly looking for a new home in what is so far panning out to be a great game. I'll be honest, the older in the guild tag turned me off just a little, but since I turned 40 during the week I figure I qualify and I'll be damned if I won't sing it out loud and proud! :P

I started playing games online when my husband introduced me to EverQuest, we played that wonderful game for many years, until WoW was released. A week after release we cancelled our EQ accounts and jumped feet first into Azeroth.

I have since dabbled in EQ2, and Dragon Age, and revisited EQ, but until the release of Rift nothing else caught my attention and really made me want to spend hours in front of the pc like we used to.

I'm now looking for a home in Rift, and an old EQ/EQ2 friend is already in TOG, so I thought why not! I currently have a toon or two guilded with Seraphim, but they're young, so so young, and when you feel like turning guild chat off so you can quest in peace you know you're in the wrong guild! (That's not to say they're a bad guild, they're great, just not the right fit for me)

Me outside of games - well I just turned 40 as I mentioned. I am female (yes, a real one, not a guy pretending, women do game! :P), married with 4 kids (none of who are allowed access to my account - when they can pay for their own they can play hehe). My husband games as well, he's currently playing Rift too, and will most likely post an app at some point as we usually end up in guilds together. I work part-time in IT, and study part time (Diploma of IT - programming stream). I suppose I'm a geek, I know all my non-geek friends certainly classify me as one, but hey, geek is the new black!

Anyways enough about me, hoping to meet you all soon in Rift!
