Games you are currently playing or wish to play with TOG

I am currently playing DCUO, and having a lot of fun with it. I would like to find about about your current DCUO membership, where they are, and how many of you are playing.

Upcoming games I am looking forward to are Firefall and, of course, Star Wars The Old Republic.

Information about yourself

I am 33 years old, male. I was born and raised in New England, USA, but I currently live in Maryland, near Washington D.C. I love reading, watching movies, gaming, and I have a been a musician for nearly 20 years.

Information about your gaming history (i.e. first gaming console, or pen and paper game, etc)

Like most of you, I have been gaming as long as I can remember. I even have some vague memories of going to the Sears and Roebuck with my parents to buy the Atari 2600. Since then I have played so many games, on so many consoles.

I had been exposed to PC gaming at various times when I was growing up, but my family never really had a computer that was used for gaming. Well, we had a C64, but my parents never used it, and the only thing I used it for was for playing the The Goonies game. When I was around 21 years old, I finally had saved up enough money to buy my own PC, and from there I started my PC gaming career.

I started playing shooters like AVP, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, and Battlefield 1942, which is still one of my all time favorite games. My first MMO was Star Wars Galaxies. Since then I have played them on and off, and they have been mostly sci-fi, as I do not have an overwhelming interest in fantasy.

Why you'd like to join TOG

Like many of you, the older I get, the less I enjoy playing with younger players. Occasionally you find a nice person here and there, but I just can't relate to the language and behavior anymore. I would like to join TOG because I hope to find a good group of folks that I can relate to and play games with. I'm hoping that TOG is that group.
