Applying for TOG - SW:TOR
Hello!
Games I currently play: I'm currently doing some moderate raiding in WoW. Looking forward to the lauch of Star Wars: The Old Republic. Have a feeling I'm gonna be playing that a lot more. I'm applying in hopes of being able to join TOG's TOR guild. My first gaming experience was at 6 years old on the old Nintendo Console (Classic Plastic FTW!!!) Why I want to join: After reading about who you are and what your community is like, I feel like it's exactly what I'm looking for. A group of respectful, mature gamers who take eachother and other people more serious than they do their game. Some people get their priorities mixed up and seem to think that a bunch of pixels made up of zeros and ones are more important than the real people sitting behind the screen on the other side. Don't get me wrong, I'm serious when it comes time for it. However, as I work 40-60 hours a week, am married and have a child, this is only an escape for me to chill and relax from the daily grind when I want to. It's not my life. I'm 27, work as a manager/sales advisor in retail and enjoy reading, writing, blogging, social networking, and I'm a bit of a geek from time to time - usually when Star Wars has something to do with it. I'm trying my best not to say it, but I just can't. hold. back! May the force be with you! Wow, I'm such a dork!  Well, anyway, hope to see some of you on TOR and thank you for the opportunity to join such a great and unique organization! |
